Meet the 2018-2019 WEFT President, Adam Shaffer!
A senior from Houston, Texas, he is currently training for his commercial certificate. He aspires to become an instructor and transition to the airlines after graduation.
He enjoys the comradery and family-like environment of flight team, the everlasting memories he has made, and cannot wait to see what the future holds for the team!
Meet the 2018-2019 WEFT Vice President, Henry Hotaling!
From San Marino, CA, he is a commercial pilot currently training to become an instructor. He aspires to eventually become a Captain of a Boeing 777.
He feels that WEFT has allowed him to become a better pilot by giving him the opportunity to learn from other pilots and enjoys networking with industry leaders at competitions.
Meet the 2018-19 Treasurer Alex Gerbel!
An instrument pilot rated for both land and sea, he wants to pursue a career in either Airport Management or overseeing a Charter operation.
He enjoys that flight team allows pilots to take a break from rigorous training and enjoy flying in a safe and fun environment.

An instrument rated pilot training for his commercial certificate, he hopes to one day fly for one of the major airlines.
His favorite thing about flight team is how it is a great way to find a friend group while also building one's flying skills.
